Well – I’ve enjoyed some downtime here recently.  How about you?  Remember my post on “Having time to think” ?  Have you been taking time to think?  If so… what have you been thinking about?  Is it family related, work related, hobby, faith, or something else?  Maybe you’ve spent some time thinking about several of these topics.  Often this time of year leads to New Year’s Resolutions – they generally don’t work well.  But – the intention is always good.  Who doesn’t want to improve in some way as the New Year kicks off.  Any good intentions scheduled to launch in 2009?

I’ve been doing a little thinking about this blog – how to improve it, make it more interesting, more interactive, etc.  I’ve got a few ideas… but I’m curious… what do you think?  Any topics you’d like me to focus on more as 2009 blows in?  Any ideas to improve the site?  Leave a comment or send me a note via my contact page.

A seat at the table… that’s what most people want.  The boardroom table?  The kitchen table?  Maybe the Café table?  I recently read a great blog post by Chris Brogan entitled, “Cafe-Shaped Conversations.”

The post describes Social Media’s place at the marketing table.  The post asks provocative questions about big business and social media… and why or why not big business (or little for that matter) should be interested.

I’m a novice compared to a guy like Brogan, but I’m learning.  I’m experimenting.  I’m pulling up a chair in the social media café.  Why – because this is a wave worth riding.  This is a blend worth brewing.
